When working with a Nastel support representative, they may ask you to send them files. You can do this by uploading your files to the Nastel Download Center. This is an online database provided to users as a way to transfer files so that support representatives can access them. You can also download product files from this location as well.
Accessing the Nastel Download Center
Note: You cannot use a browser to upload data
The Nastel Download Center is located at data.nastel.com. It is accessed via SFTP protocol and is password protected. If you do now know your login credentials, please contact your Nastel Support representative. Use one of the following methods to connect:
Method 1: FTP client tool
Use an FTP client tool such as FileZilla or WinSCP. When setting up the connection, use the following configurations:
- Protocol: SFTP - SSH File Transfer Protocol
- Host: data.nastel.com
- Folder: upload_folder
- User and password: specify your login credentials
Method 2: Command prompt
Use a command prompt to connect to data.nastel.com via SFTP protocol. For example, enter the following command and replace "user" with your username. Enter your password when prompted.
Now that you are connected to the Nastel Download Center, upload your information as instructed by your support representative. Notify your support representative when the files have completed transferring from your PC to the Nastel Download Center.
